{"id":216,"date":"2011-01-06T11:59:36","date_gmt":"2011-01-06T01:29:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/travel.pennyandjosh.com\/?p=216"},"modified":"2012-01-03T11:24:16","modified_gmt":"2012-01-03T00:54:16","slug":"chengdu-redeems-itself","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/travel.pennyandjosh.com\/?p=216","title":{"rendered":"Chengdu redeems itself"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-238\" href=\"http:\/\/travel.pennyandjosh.com\/?attachment_id=238\"><\/a>Chengdu may be a smoggy, car choked city with few attractions (or &#8216;craphole&#8217; if you prefer) but its one major draw-card makes the trip more than worth it.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The Chengdu Panda Research Centre is a huge sanctuary with nearly 50 giant and red pandas, where they concentrate on breeding and research.
