Ok so I know our entries are appearing to come from the distant past which may be confusing some of you (hi mum!)… and all (3) of you are probably wondering what’s going on so I just wanted to give you a quick update:
- Penny is still pretty unwell and doesn’t really feel like sitting on the computer, which is why you keep getting stuck with me. Sorry about that but I promise she’ll write the next one tomorrow while I’m caving.
- The internet is almost non-existent in most of the places we’re visiting, hence the sporadic and chronologically challenged timeline of our entries (on a sidenote, wireless is everywhere here so if anyone wants to buy us an iPad that’d be totally fine).
- The computer we’ve finally found is locked in a cabinet which means I can’t upload any photos, including the one of the giant tarantula I found on our night trek in the jungle.
- We’re both still alive and unkidnapped and there is no secret duress word hidden in the above.
Caving? I’m pretty sure that would be my duress word.
